Yes usually. Depends on who you are teaching and what? Instead of mooltiple PCs I’d suggest Virtualization or Terminal Server. Less maintenance imo. Then again, upfront cost maybe more with those options. Never EZ!

I’ve been thinking about starting a small business. I was thinking of getting myself 10-15 cheap PCs so I can give classes to computer illiterate people.

Internet Browsing, social media sites, how to upload a video to youtube etc.

Is there a market for this kind of stuff still?

I think it would be the world’s easier job, but getting people to come would be the hard part…or would it?

It wasn’t too bad.
Subway was a bit whacked (typical weekend shitcrap).
We need machines to work on fixing shit. Humans are too slow!
Prof. seems cool. E-savvy.
I’m 1 of 4 guys in class.
I’m 1 of 2 younger guys in class.
Class has web presence on Nicenet instead of CUNY’s preferred Blackboard.
Both sucks ass!
Blackboard sucks because I think CUNY is hosting themselves and their techies don’t get paid enuff to care or don’t have enuff resources (thanks to typical education system redtape) to host properly. Managed hosting (which Blackboard offers) would be nice but not everyone is comfy with that and I understand. AND top of that Blackboard interface sux azz! Maybe because CUNY uses old version or Blackboard really sucks!
Of course CUNY charges students less money compared to other schools so I shouldn’t complaint too much.
Nicenet runs on a donated version of Macromedia ColdFusion. It is free and thus sucks (not all free stuff is good) because they didn’t change Macromedia to Adobe who bought Macromedia few years ago. AND no financial incentive to innovate or add features.
So what should classes use?
I don’t know, I don’t care!
I would if I was getting paid BUT I prefer not to deal with self-righteous academia industry.

It’s as if an invisible piece of rope was tied around your waste in order to hold you back from getting closer to people, or worse, it makes you step back! What is this all about? You’re going through a period that is closely linked to your past. A failed relationship is still haunting you and is casting its shadow on the current one. Get rid of those skeletons in your closet!

When I was in college I experimented as a “party lesbian” - meaning I’d hook up (mostly make-out, sometimes more ;)) with girls in front of other bystanders.

Looking back, it was partly for the attention, partly for turning myself on, and partly because I was curious and just wanted to.

I doubt that there is any “party lesbian” out there that is doing it just for the attention.

It tells a lot about his/her attitude towards sexual relationships…The study made on 700 heterosexual subjects revealed that men generally look for women perceived as being open to affairs, whilst women are more interested in potentially stable partners.

The participants were asked to judge the attractiveness and attitude towards sex of various persons of opposite gender from their facial photographs. They were presented pairs of facial images of men and women in their early 20s, considered of average attractiveness and having two opposite attitudes towards relationships. The volunteers had to rate the faces of the individuals that would be more open to short-term relationships, one-night stands and to the idea of sex as distinct from love.

It appeared that both male and female subjects could assess quite precisely from photographs which characters were more prone to short-term sexual relationships: 72% of the participants correctly detected sexual attitudes in over 50% of the cases. “
