Adult Movie Stars on Romantic Comedies

With Valentine’s Day coming up, the thoughts of the FilmInFocus editorial staff turned to love. As one particular classic Hollywood movie told us, “Love is a Many Splendored Thing,” but it’s also a many faceted thing, an emotion that is manifested in numerous different ways.

Pondering which group of individuals were the specialists on l’amour, it struck us that there are people for whom love – and making love – is an everyday currency: porn stars. So, accordingly, we reached out to some of the biggest talents in the adult entertainment industry who agreed to show that hardcore does indeed have a soft side by picking their five favorite romantic comedies.

The people picking the flicks that make them all gooey inside include: Joanna Angel, the multi-talented actress-writer-producer-director who runs Burning Angel; AJ Bailey, the “world’s smartest porn star” who’s the latest contract girl for Vivid Video; Andre Madness, one of the most successful directors working in erotic movies today; Bobbi Starr, winner of Most Outrageous Sex Scene and Best Double Penetration Sex Scene at the 2010 AVN Awards; and Belladonna, a porn legend who is also famous for a memorable interview with Diane Sawyer in 2003.
