Make it a public place! How about 12pm? 6:30pm seems kinda late.
I have never purchased anything off craigslist, but today I found something too good to pass up. Do you think it’s fine to go to someone’s home/warehouse (what I’m looking at is big) if I’m by myself? Because most of my friends work in fashion (or Brooklyn), no one can leave work early enough to meet me there at 6:30. I’m mostly sure it is totally fine, and there is no reason to be nervous, but still, there’s another part of me that just came up with an elaborate scheme which involves me texting Marc the address, him calling me 5 minutes later, and me having a code word to use (sailboat - it was even his idea!) if all is well. If I say anything other than sailboat, he will alert the authorities.
Or maybe this plan just makes me the crazy one. I wonder what that guy is going to think when my phone rings, I answer, and just whisper, “sailboat” into it.
