I’ve noticed more old people with 1 leg in the grave win more lottery. Probably because they play regularly than us who need and have use of money than them! I’d send a dolla ya’ll!
What if a lot of tumblr’s in NYC PayPal’ed me one dollar for the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday?
I’d buy however many tickets for Mega Millions that would afford us (ideally, it would be around $50-100 worth). I’ll post the numbers we get before the drawing so that there’s no shenanigans.
If we win the jackpot, we’ll all split it. I’ll have a record of who sent me the $1.
If we win $5 or $7 or whatever, it will go back into a fund that buys more tickets.
If win the $150 prize, we’ll have a happy hour with those winnings!
This idea was hatched when my parents and I noted that it seems like groups of 20 or more win the jackpot more often than individuals.
Horrible idea or just so stupid it might work (i.e. be a fun way to waste $4 a month)?
